I’ve been a fan of Catskills records since they first came on the scene when I met one of the label owners at a night called Passenger in Islington back in 1997. I still have a few of their early releases on 12″ vinyl on my shelf.
So when I got a call out of the blue from Jonny, one of the owners, asking if I could work on a website for his new venture The Hookup Consultancy I was pretty stoked.
I presented a few different ideas until one design was agreed upon.
The site I created has the following features:
Blog, content management system (WordPress), Flash music player, drop-down menus, newsletter sign up form and newsletter management system with analytics, google analytics, twitter feed, movie clip embedding and a live gigs listings (controlled with the content management system).

Jack is just completing a second WordPress custom built site for me and the results have been great both times. Now I am fully in control of updating my site and save time and money because I don’t have to go back to a developer every time I need an update to my sites.
